#17 BOOKSIRENS READ: YOU'RE ENOUGH, JUNE NELSON

📖BOOK TITLE: YOU'RE ENOUGH, JUNE NELSON

📖AUTHOR: JESSI HANSEN

📖THOUGHTS&OPINIONS:
#123rdBookOf2024
Thank you to Booksirens and the author for granting my request to read this e-ARC for free and provide my honest opinions.

Seeing as I did not read the blurb before jumping into this one, I was pleasantly surprised when I discovered that time travel was in this book.

June is on her way to her book launch; her boyfriend just dumped her, and a big-time book blogger just called her new book 'mediocre'.

June is scared; she has always been scared, but it seems like life has given her a chance to retrace her steps to see life from her teenage perspective.

Honestly, in terms of love interest, I didn't think that June and Patrick could still work; in fact, I stopped rooting for them at some point, but everybody deserves a second chance. Everybody deserves someone that will tell them that they're enough. You Are Enough!

📖RATINGS: 4 STARS ⭐⭐⭐⭐

📖QUOTES:
Life is too lonely without family, too empty without friends

I’ve made peace with life being unfair. It’s in the unfairness that we discover who we really are and what we’re built for.

Life isn’t about being liked by every single person you meet. That’s never going to happen. It’s about growing, dreaming, building something that matters.

Keep moving forward. Keep creating. Keep dreaming.

HAS ANYONE SEEN MY HUSBAND BY KATHLEEN WHYMAN

📖 BOOK TITLE: HAS ANYONE SEEN MY HUSBAND? 📖AUTHOR: KATHLEEN WHYMAN  📖THOUGHTS&OPINIONS:  #154thBookof2024 I love this book, the humor! The drama! And the mystique surrounding Scott and his numerous problems. I can't believe Marie and his ex-wife married this guy. Scott is an a$$hole, and he deserves to be treated as such. Those poor innocent kids 😩. While humor was a big part of the novel, this book shines a light on serious topics such as infidelity, gaslighting, serial lying, and paternal irresponsibility towards children, just to say the least. I had so much fun laughing while reading this book and gained awareness of how lies and subtle gaslighting build up! What Scott did is unacceptable! And my heart goes out to all the things he did to the women he was with; what a gag🤮🤢. And yes, there is a love interest 🥰🥰🥰. 📖 RATINGS : 5 STARS ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

THE REUNION BY KAYLA OLSON

📖 BOOK TITLE: THE REUNION 📖AUTHOR: KAYLA OLSON  📖THOUGHTS&OPINIONS:  #155thBookof2024 I really wanted to love this; I mean, look at this stunning cover, but it is what it is, and I didn't love it 😩. It was like the author wanted to shove the love interest down my throat 😂😂. One thing this love story between Liv and Ransom did was make me cringe. I even lowkey hated the MMC's name 😩😑. The chemistry was not there, and it just felt as if Liv didn't have any other option than to date Ransom. Boy told you he wanted space; he didn't talk to you, and after so many years, he waltzed back into your life like he never left. The synopsis made it feel like Ransom was the reason Liv went into isolation 😑😑. Liv- I love your personality and your charisma, but your love story with Ransom was one I so detested 🙁. 📖 RATINGS : 2 STARS ⭐⭐ 📖🌸 READ IF YOU LIKE: 🌸 She has always loved him 🌸 Friends to strangers to lovers 🌸 Second chance romance  🌸 Hollywoo...

#16 NETGALLEY READ: SOMEONE LIKE YOU

📖 BOOK TITLE: SOMEONE LIKE YOU    📖AUTHOR: SANDY BARKER  📖THOUGHTS&OPINIONS:  #134thBookOf2024 Thank you to Netgalley, Boldwood Books, and Sandy Barker for granting my request to read this e-ARC and provide my honest opinions. I would have rated this 3.5 stars, but I rounded it up to 4 stars. The whole transition from friends to lovers took me on a ride, and I really thought that both Raff's and Gaby's HEAs (Happily Ever After) would not happen due to some circumstances on both MCs part. "Someone Like You" is the fourth book in the "Ever After Agency Series," and I read this book as a standalone even without reading the rest in the series. Honestly, I feel that no one can be as dumb and oblivious as Raff. Like, seriously, dude, how can you not know when someone is flirting with you? The whole matchmaker bit got me excited (that's a dream job). Overall, I really enjoyed this story, even if I thought it was way too long and dragging ...
