Honestly, I'm not a big fan of Insta-Love, and Meredith just coming out of a 4-year relationship with Ben did not help the narrative. To me, it felt as if Mer was using Wit to get over Ben, and I couldn't shake off the feeling throughout the book.

The Assassin game was pretty interesting, plus the wedding—it is just genius. PS: Be prepared to keep up with a lot of characters.

It is really sad what happened to Claire, and I'm glad Mer and her parents are getting through it together. This review won't be complete if I didn't say this "Luli, I kind of hate you. You were always getting on my nerves, girl! 

Overall, apart from the overly descriptive writing style and not being a big fan of Insta-Love. This was an okay read.

I would have rated this 3.5 stars, but I rounded it up to 4 stars. The whole transition from friends to lovers took me on a ride, and I really thought that both Raff's and Gaby's HEAs (Happily Ever After) would not happen due to some circumstances on both MCs part. "Someone Like You" is the fourth book in the "Ever After Agency Series," and I read this book as a standalone even without reading the rest in the series. Honestly, I feel that no one can be as dumb and oblivious as Raff. Like, seriously, dude, how can you not know when someone is flirting with you? I really have no words to describe what I felt when I was reading this book so I am going to leave my review like this.  Wow!!! I am no basketball enthusiast but I'm so glad I discovered this book, I am so glad I got to read this book! You can see how raw the emotions are, you begin to feel what the author felt when he was penning down this book! We need more books like this!!
