I am a little bummed that I didn't enjoy this story as much as I would have loved to. Adam and Alison's love story is one I didn't quite connect to—the tension was strong, but the connection between the two main characters I did not feel. It felt forced to me, and the chemistry between the two MCs was definitely lacking.
I wanted to shake some sense into Alison. You hate hiking; admit it. Why beat yourself up for something you can't control? Every page/chapter I turned, Sam's name haunted me. We get it, Sam is dead, and it is a very uncomfortable situation, but it was very repetitive.
Let me not get started on Adam's so-called issues 😂😑. There were a lot of ramblings here and there that, in my opinion, were not relevant to the plot.
For a rom-com, it was heavy and the love interests didn't appeal to me.

I'm sorry you didn't love this one! It would be great if we could love them all.
