I thoroughly enjoyed this book—right from the very first page—and it is amazing 😍. If you are a fan of Sherlock Holmes, you will love this book 😍😍🕵️‍♂️.

The plot twists! The writing style! The secrets! The suspense! And the characters! Oh my God!! You just have to read this book to understand what I'm feeling right now. Run, don't walk in reading this book!!

Unto the next book in the series, fingers crossed that I love the next book as much as I loved this one.

And Ernest, you're such a reliable narrator, chef's kisses 😘😘

While humor was a big part of the novel, this book shines a light on serious topics such as infidelity, gaslighting, serial lying, and paternal irresponsibility towards children, just to say the least. I had so much fun laughing while reading this book and gained awareness of how lies and subtle gaslighting build up! What Scott did is unacceptable! And my heart goes out to all the things he did to the women he was with; what a gag🤮🤢. And yes, there is a love interest 🥰🥰🥰. 📖 RATINGS : 5 STARS ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I would have rated this 3.5 stars, but I rounded it up to 4 stars. The whole transition from friends to lovers took me on a ride, and I really thought that both Raff's and Gaby's HEAs (Happily Ever After) would not happen due to some circumstances on both MCs part. "Someone Like You" is the fourth book in the "Ever After Agency Series," and I read this book as a standalone even without reading the rest in the series. Honestly, I feel that no one can be as dumb and oblivious as Raff. Like, seriously, dude, how can you not know when someone is flirting with you?
