📖THOUGHTS&OPINIONS:
#NinetythirdBookOf2024
I'll always say that 'It Had to be You' by Eliza Jane Braizer got me into this kind of book. The act of mixing danger or thrill with a romantic interest is just genius. So the review:

I guess I loved one of the characters more than the other, and obviously that character will be Mackenzie; her POV is more fast-paced than Jones. Aside from that, the chemistry between Mackenzie and Jackson is definitely lacking, and their incessant bickering is just annoying. I can't even imagine what will happen when they merge together.

The thrill aspect was definitely exciting, but I was expecting more. For two so-called "great" PI investigators, I expected them to unravel the mystery before it even started, but a lot of money was on the line, and if they had unraveled the mystery before it even began, there would be no book. So don't mind me😂.

There were some aspects that were definitely lacking and unbelievable, and that twist at the end Damn! Overall, the book was okay, and I can't wait for what Book 2 will bring. I need more recs like this😫

📖RATINGS: 3 STARS ⭐⭐⭐
