You might find this book slow or difficult to get into, but please stick with it 🥺because it gets better with each page and chapter. It is very easy to make assumptions about other people's lives, and I hope after reading this book that you will give people a chance. Get to know them, and that might be the start of a beautiful and wonderful friendship.

Iona, I'm very sorry that I assumed you had a very wonderful life. You and Bea are the whole damn cake! Toby, shame on you, control freak. Ed- Iona should have let Lulu loose on you 😐.

This is the perfect found family trope, and I learned a lot of lessons from this book.

It was like the author wanted to shove the love interest down my throat 😂😂. One thing this love story between Liv and Ransom did was make me cringe. I even lowkey hated the MMC's name 😩😑. The chemistry was not there, and it just felt as if Liv didn't have any other option than to date Ransom. Boy told you he wanted space; he didn't talk to you, and after so many years, he waltzed back into your life like he never left. The synopsis made it feel like Ransom was the reason Liv went into isolation 😑😑. I would have rated this 3.5 stars, but I rounded it up to 4 stars. The whole transition from friends to lovers took me on a ride, and I really thought that both Raff's and Gaby's HEAs (Happily Ever After) would not happen due to some circumstances on both MCs part. "Someone Like You" is the fourth book in the "Ever After Agency Series," and I read this book as a standalone even without reading the rest in the series. Honestly, I feel that no one can be as dumb and oblivious as Raff. Like, seriously, dude, how can you not know when someone is flirting with you?
