BOOK REVIEW RUNDOWN: THE PEOPLE ON PLATFORM 5

πŸ“–BOOK TITLE: THE PEOPLE ON PLATFORM 5

πŸ“–AUTHOR: CLARE POOLEY

πŸ“–THOUGHTS&OPINIONS:
#102ndBookOf2024

You might find this book slow or difficult to get into, but please stick with it πŸ₯Ίbecause it gets better with each page and chapter. It is very easy to make assumptions about other people's lives, and I hope after reading this book that you will give people a chance. Get to know them, and that might be the start of a beautiful and wonderful friendship.

Iona, I'm very sorry that I assumed you had a very wonderful life. You and Bea are the whole damn cake! Toby, shame on you, control freak. Ed- Iona should have let Lulu loose on you 😐.

This is the perfect found family trope, and I learned a lot of lessons from this book.

πŸ“–RATINGS: 4 STARS

πŸ“–QUOTES:

People who bully usually have more problems themselves than you are ever aware of.

What is the point of being alive if you go through life unnoticed.

The whole point of life is to stand out, not to fit in.

You never really know what’s going on in other people’s heads.

Love is the greatest risk of all, but a life without it is meaningless.

The only way to be guaranteed of failure is not to try.

There was no moment except this perfect one, right here and right now.

FROM ONE TO FIVE

Another Saturday, another bookish rantπŸ˜‚πŸ˜Š. Welcome to another chapter of weekly special book lovers πŸ“šπŸ˜. The star rating system: a simple way to sum up our thoughts on a book, or an outdated habit that's due for a change? The other day I saw a post on Instagram about whether book reviewers still made use of "stars" when reviewing books, and I was compelled to make this a topic on my book segment! So the question is, 'Do reviewers and generally book lovers still make use of stars when reviewing books?' As a book reviewer myself, I love making use of stars, and I will never stop making use of them except a better system comes up for scaling books πŸ˜‚. It is also true that I correct my ratings accordingly. What do I mean by this? This is what I mean: when rating books, I go by my mood and excitement after completion of the book, and I immediately rate books. I may look back on my emotions after reading a particular book and correct my ratings. I recently...

WHO AM I?

In this chapter of the Weekly Special, I am going to dive into who I am aside from being a book reviewer! I know y'all are probably thinking that all I do with my time is read books and rate them on a scale of five πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚. Probably not! So the question is, Who is RayoReads? I am Rayo, and this is who I am aside from reading and reviewing books. 1. I am a student at Delta State University in Abraka studying physiology. How cool, right? (just joking) πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ . When school is in session, studies take up most of my time, which is why I am so happy when we go on breaks.  2. I am a very introverted person, which you will have guessed, so no partying, going out , excessive friends, and the rest. 3. I am an indoors person, but that does not mean I sleep a lot πŸ’€πŸ˜‚ .P.S.: I don't like taking afternoon naps. 4. I am not a big social person, but you can find me on Facebook: (  https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100087184700959&mibextid=ZbWKwL )    Instagram (...
