I'm going to take a moment to appreciate the cover designer of this book. The cover is just breathtaking. They say don't judge a book by its cover, but I don't abide by that rule😂😂😂.

Glory Broussard is such a character, and I enjoyed every bit of her shenanigans, but as an amateur sleuth, finding the murderer of Sister Amity took Glory and her daughter on a ride they will never forget. Even though, most of the time, the story was not entirely focused on the murder that happened,.

The secrets—oh my God, I found them very interesting and exciting. The dog bite scene did not help my cyanophobia one bit 😂. I really want to know what will happen to Delphine and Lieutenant Landry.In my opinion what happened between them shouldn't have happened at all.

Overall, I enjoyed every bit of this book, and I can't wait for book 2😍🎉.
