BOOK REVIEW RUNDOWN: A FOUND FAMILY AT THE CORNISH COUNTRY HOSPITAL

📖BOOK TITLE: A FOUND FAMILY AT THE CORNISH COUNTRY HOSPITAL (BOOK 3)

📖AUTHOR: JO BARTLETT

📖THOUGHTS&OPINIONS:
#HundredthBookOf2024 🎉🎉🎉

I am glad to be back in Port Kara and to be with these amazing characters once again. I'm so sad that Esther and Joe were not really talked about much, but it's not their story. A Found Family at the Cornish Country Hospital is the third book in the Cornish Country Hospital series, and it is all about Isla's and Aidan's story.

Isla wants to create a legacy for her father, and she knows the perfect way to do that is by being part of creating a family for someone, but that thought is almost cut off when she receives the news that she has a chronic condition. Will Isla's plan to create a legacy for her father be put on hold?

Aidan and Jase have always wanted a family, but they are battling with infertility problems, and we can see how distressing it is for them. This book emphasizes the point that family is not only about blood ties; family can also be people you choose and who chooses you.

Even though I didn't quite connect to this book as much as I would have loved to, it was good 🙌😍. Like I said when I first started this series, count me in for every book in this series, Jo.

📖RATINGS: 3 STARS ⭐⭐⭐

📖QUOTES:
If love isn’t everything to you, then surely it’s nothing.

What was the point of a life without people to love?

BOOK REVIEW RUNDOWN: REMEMBER ME TOMORROW

📖 BOOK TITLE: REMEMBER ME TOMORROW  📖AUTHOR: FARAH HERON 📖THOUGHTS&OPINIONS:  #127thBookOf2024 Yes, this book is a little bonkers. This is a very unconventional love story, and you have to really get at it to grasp the story between Jay and Aleeza. You know I love everything time travel/parallel universe-related, and with each fiction book I read about this topic, my mind is blown away every single time. Yes, there's more mystery elements than the rom-com because how can Aleeza be in love with Jay, who is not even in her timeline, talk about a guy who is unavailable? I loved how put together this book was, how the mystery elements worked together; there was no point in this book that was left to assumptions; everything was explained well without being boring and overly descriptive. Overall, I really enjoyed this story, and definitely this will not be my last Farah Heron's book. 📖RATINGS: 4 STARS ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 📖QUOTES: ♤ Time isn’t linear. There are an infin...

#16 NETGALLEY READ: SOMEONE LIKE YOU

📖 BOOK TITLE: SOMEONE LIKE YOU    📖AUTHOR: SANDY BARKER  📖THOUGHTS&OPINIONS:  #134thBookOf2024 Thank you to Netgalley, Boldwood Books, and Sandy Barker for granting my request to read this e-ARC and provide my honest opinions. I would have rated this 3.5 stars, but I rounded it up to 4 stars. The whole transition from friends to lovers took me on a ride, and I really thought that both Raff's and Gaby's HEAs (Happily Ever After) would not happen due to some circumstances on both MCs part. "Someone Like You" is the fourth book in the "Ever After Agency Series," and I read this book as a standalone even without reading the rest in the series. Honestly, I feel that no one can be as dumb and oblivious as Raff. Like, seriously, dude, how can you not know when someone is flirting with you? The whole matchmaker bit got me excited (that's a dream job). Overall, I really enjoyed this story, even if I thought it was way too long and dragging ...
