WHO AM I?

In this chapter of the Weekly Special, I am going to dive into who I am aside from being a book reviewer! I know y'all are probably thinking that all I do with my time is read books and rate them on a scale of five ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚. Probably not! So the question is, Who is RayoReads?

I am Rayo, and this is who I am aside from reading and reviewing books.
1. I am a student at Delta State University in Abraka studying physiology. How cool, right? (just joking) ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚. When school is in session, studies take up most of my time, which is why I am so happy when we go on breaks.

2. I am a very introverted person, which you will have guessed, so no partying, going out , excessive friends, and the rest.

3. I am an indoors person, but that does not mean I sleep a lot ๐Ÿ’ค๐Ÿ˜‚.P.S.: I don't like taking afternoon naps.

4. I am not a big social person, but you can find me on Facebook: ( https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100087184700959&mibextid=ZbWKwL )  Instagram ( https://www.instagram.com/rayo_reads?igsh=YXpjOXR0aDZrejkw )

5. I love movies, but not so much.

6. I am a data reseller, which is my main side hustle, by the way (it's not really a hustle).

7. I run a bookclub named RBookclub.

8. Far more importantly, I am a Nigerian ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ฌ and the Heritage of Christ ๐Ÿ›.

9. To sum it all up, I Am Just A Girl Who Loves Books!
And if all I have written is not enough, check my About page: https://www.blogger.com/profile/12695080460173043938 ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

BOOK REVIEW RUNDOWN: DARK MATTER

๐Ÿ“– BOOK TITLE: DARK MATTER  ๐Ÿ“– AUTHOR: BLAKE CROUCH  ๐Ÿ“– THOUGHTS&OPINIONS :  #LetterD of My Alphabet Challenge #FourteenthBookOf2024   So this novel followed the story of Jason Densen. Jason is a scientist and has been trying to put a macro object in superposition; in other words, Jason was trying to figure out if we can access other timelines other than our own.  But that dream was cut short when he decided to settle down, have a family, and be responsible. He left his passion for scientific research in order to have a family, which is pretty cool if you ask me ๐Ÿ’•. So it starts getting interesting when Jason1 gets kidnapped ๐Ÿ˜ฎ mysterious, right? I am not going to say who kidnapped him, but if you have read the book, I am guessing you were as shocked as me when you found out. It turns out there are multiple versions of Jasons, and it turned bloody real quick. This book was nothing I expected. I was terrified to say the truth. I heard that there is a movie adaptation ๐Ÿ˜

An excerpt from NEARLY ALL THE MEN IN LAGOS ARE MAD BY DAMILARE KUKU

The Anointed Wife Do you think it is easy to be a pastor’s wife?  How can you know what it means to be the partner of a man with a divine calling, made of flesh but instructed to lead with the spirit? Any ordinary wife has their work cut out for them in loving their husbands, in serving them for richer or poorer, in sickness and in health, but a pastor’s wife has to help her husband maintain his holy anointing, and to do so with an invisible hand. “I didn’t do it. Mummy, do you believe me?” How long has it been since I became the mummy of our organisation, the mother in our marriage? I can’t remember. It feels like forever since I had the pleasure, the intimacy of hearing my own name fall from my husband’s lips—my real name, not Mummy, sometimes followed by one of the children’s names. I look at him now. His pleading eyes and downturned mouth. His hair is impeccably groomed, his salt and pepper beard neatly trimmed. We have been married for over twenty years. Our love has gone b
