I received this book voluntarily from the author for FREE and this is my honest opinion!

John is a very likeable character; in fact, I loved his character.  From being a self-centered dude to having leukemia and now to his aversion to hospitals. John is forced to go back to his roots to be a better person, and maybe even find love while at it!

Seeing John with his friend Daniel was my highlight of the novel. I loved how Daniel came through for John and how he found a father figure in one of his role models.

I am very happy that John had his fairy tale love story❤❤

You just have to read this book.😍

It was like the author wanted to shove the love interest down my throat 😂😂. One thing this love story between Liv and Ransom did was make me cringe. I even lowkey hated the MMC's name 😩😑. The chemistry was not there, and it just felt as if Liv didn't have any other option than to date Ransom. Boy told you he wanted space; he didn't talk to you, and after so many years, he waltzed back into your life like he never left. The synopsis made it feel like Ransom was the reason Liv went into isolation 😑😑. I would have rated this 3.5 stars, but I rounded it up to 4 stars. The whole transition from friends to lovers took me on a ride, and I really thought that both Raff's and Gaby's HEAs (Happily Ever After) would not happen due to some circumstances on both MCs part. "Someone Like You" is the fourth book in the "Ever After Agency Series," and I read this book as a standalone even without reading the rest in the series. Honestly, I feel that no one can be as dumb and oblivious as Raff. Like, seriously, dude, how can you not know when someone is flirting with you?
