I want to thank booksirens, the author and the publisher for granting me an ARC of this book🥰🥰.

I read the blurb from booksirens and I just couldn't pass, I HAD TO READ WHY VIVIAN IS DONE! This book isn't all about romance but about FRIENDSHIPS too and why they are important.

When VIVIAN A recruiting specialist( first time I am hearing about this type of job) gets an assignment in Charleston to help a healthcare organization recruits their lost nurses, she begins to understand that her job is taking too much from her that she has little to give in other aspects of her life and nobody should have a job that takes too much from them even if it comes with a huge paycheck!

The relationships between the characters in the book I love it so much.

I loved this book and it was also a fast read so if you love WOMEN'S FICTION like me 😄 read this book!

And the mystique surrounding Scott and his numerous problems. I can't believe Marie and his ex-wife married this guy. Scott is an a$$hole, and he deserves to be treated as such. Those poor innocent kids 😩. While humor was a big part of the novel, this book shines a light on serious topics such as infidelity, gaslighting, serial lying, and paternal irresponsibility towards children, just to say the least. I had so much fun laughing while reading this book and gained awareness of how lies and subtle gaslighting build up! What Scott did is unacceptable! And my heart goes out to all the things he did to the women he was with; what a gag🤮🤢. And yes, there is a love interest 🥰🥰🥰. 📖 RATINGS : 5 STARS ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

It was like the author wanted to shove the love interest down my throat 😂😂. One thing this love story between Liv and Ransom did was make me cringe. I even lowkey hated the MMC's name 😩😑. The chemistry was not there, and it just felt as if Liv didn't have any other option than to date Ransom. Boy told you he wanted space; he didn't talk to you, and after so many years, he waltzed back into your life like he never left. The synopsis made it feel like Ransom was the reason Liv went into isolation 😑😑. I would have rated this 3.5 stars, but I rounded it up to 4 stars. The whole transition from friends to lovers took me on a ride, and I really thought that both Raff's and Gaby's HEAs (Happily Ever After) would not happen due to some circumstances on both MCs part. "Someone Like You" is the fourth book in the "Ever After Agency Series," and I read this book as a standalone even without reading the rest in the series. Honestly, I feel that no one can be as dumb and oblivious as Raff. Like, seriously, dude, how can you not know when someone is flirting with you?
