BOOK REVIEW RUNDOWN: ROOTLESS BY KRYSTLE ZARA APPIAH

It's midweek๐Ÿ˜ฒ, let's talk about Rootless for a bit

ROOTLESS BY KRYSTLE ZARA APPIAH

๐Ÿ“šBook synopsis:
Rootless is a heartrending love story about motherhood and sacrifice, providing an intimate look at what happens after a marriage collapses, leading two people to rediscover what they ultimately want—and if it's still each other. As Efe says, “Love and regret aren't mutually exclusive.”

๐Ÿ“šGenre: Fiction

๐Ÿ“šThoughts&opinions:
I picked up Rootless because of the cover not knowing that this beautiful story will rip my heart out ๐Ÿ˜“๐Ÿ˜ญ. Right from the 4th or 5th chapter I was furious with the characters, taking a break to just breathe and analyze what I read, asking myself questions of what I will do if i was in that same situation( I dont want to reveal too much about this book, you just have to READ IT!!)๐Ÿ˜“.

Being a fellow African where women are faced with a lot of stereotypes, do this dont do that, I understood where Efe was coming from, I could relate with her struggles and fear.#TeamEfe

Sam,to me you were more that just a character, you felt real to me, permit me to say this. If you find a person like Sam, keep him because his love is #Timeless. #TeamSam

Sam&Efe your love story is one to learn many lessons from, I couldn't believe the ending, like why!!.

"I hope you learn to block out the noise, stay true to what you want, and find your place in this world. The world is a better place because you are in it."

BOOK REVIEW RUNDOWN: DARK MATTER

๐Ÿ“– BOOK TITLE: DARK MATTER  ๐Ÿ“– AUTHOR: BLAKE CROUCH  ๐Ÿ“– THOUGHTS&OPINIONS :  #LetterD of My Alphabet Challenge #FourteenthBookOf2024   So this novel followed the story of Jason Densen. Jason is a scientist and has been trying to put a macro object in superposition; in other words, Jason was trying to figure out if we can access other timelines other than our own.  But that dream was cut short when he decided to settle down, have a family, and be responsible. He left his passion for scientific research in order to have a family, which is pretty cool if you ask me ๐Ÿ’•. So it starts getting interesting when Jason1 gets kidnapped ๐Ÿ˜ฎ mysterious, right? I am not going to say who kidnapped him, but if you have read the book, I am guessing you were as shocked as me when you found out. It turns out there are multiple versions of Jasons, and it turned bloody real quick. This book was nothing I expected. I was terrified to say the truth. I heard that there ...

FROM ONE TO FIVE

Another Saturday, another bookish rant๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜Š. Welcome to another chapter of weekly special book lovers ๐Ÿ“š๐Ÿ˜. The star rating system: a simple way to sum up our thoughts on a book, or an outdated habit that's due for a change? The other day I saw a post on Instagram about whether book reviewers still made use of "stars" when reviewing books, and I was compelled to make this a topic on my book segment! So the question is, 'Do reviewers and generally book lovers still make use of stars when reviewing books?' As a book reviewer myself, I love making use of stars, and I will never stop making use of them except a better system comes up for scaling books ๐Ÿ˜‚. It is also true that I correct my ratings accordingly. What do I mean by this? This is what I mean: when rating books, I go by my mood and excitement after completion of the book, and I immediately rate books. I may look back on my emotions after reading a particular book and correct my ratings. I recently...
