THE BLESSED GIRL BY ANGELA MAKHOLWA

๐Ÿ“šGenre: Adult fiction||Romance

๐Ÿ“šThoughts&opinions:
I picked up "The blessed girl" because I have a mantra which says "I AM A VERY BLESSED GIRL" but this book gave my mantra a different meaning entirely ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚. To me it felt I was reading Bontle's diary ๐Ÿ˜‚

Bontle Bontle I started the initial pages judging you and questioning your every decisions, asking a lot why's then I came to understand why you had to do alot of things you did. Such an easy read which talks about parenting, teenage pregnancy, extravagant lifestyle, friendship, family and so much more!

I am still going to keep my mantra tho๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

HAS ANYONE SEEN MY HUSBAND BY KATHLEEN WHYMAN

๐Ÿ“– BOOK TITLE: HAS ANYONE SEEN MY HUSBAND? ๐Ÿ“–AUTHOR: KATHLEEN WHYMAN  ๐Ÿ“–THOUGHTS&OPINIONS:  #154thBookof2024 I love this book, the humor! The drama! And the mystique surrounding Scott and his numerous problems. I can't believe Marie and his ex-wife married this guy. Scott is an a$$hole, and he deserves to be treated as such. Those poor innocent kids ๐Ÿ˜ฉ. While humor was a big part of the novel, this book shines a light on serious topics such as infidelity, gaslighting, serial lying, and paternal irresponsibility towards children, just to say the least. I had so much fun laughing while reading this book and gained awareness of how lies and subtle gaslighting build up! What Scott did is unacceptable! And my heart goes out to all the things he did to the women he was with; what a gag๐Ÿคฎ๐Ÿคข. And yes, there is a love interest ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿฅฐ. ๐Ÿ“– RATINGS : 5 STARS ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

THE REUNION BY KAYLA OLSON

๐Ÿ“– BOOK TITLE: THE REUNION ๐Ÿ“–AUTHOR: KAYLA OLSON  ๐Ÿ“–THOUGHTS&OPINIONS:  #155thBookof2024 I really wanted to love this; I mean, look at this stunning cover, but it is what it is, and I didn't love it ๐Ÿ˜ฉ. It was like the author wanted to shove the love interest down my throat ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚. One thing this love story between Liv and Ransom did was make me cringe. I even lowkey hated the MMC's name ๐Ÿ˜ฉ๐Ÿ˜‘. The chemistry was not there, and it just felt as if Liv didn't have any other option than to date Ransom. Boy told you he wanted space; he didn't talk to you, and after so many years, he waltzed back into your life like he never left. The synopsis made it feel like Ransom was the reason Liv went into isolation ๐Ÿ˜‘๐Ÿ˜‘. Liv- I love your personality and your charisma, but your love story with Ransom was one I so detested ๐Ÿ™. ๐Ÿ“– RATINGS : 2 STARS ⭐⭐ ๐Ÿ“–๐ŸŒธ READ IF YOU LIKE: ๐ŸŒธ She has always loved him ๐ŸŒธ Friends to strangers to lovers ๐ŸŒธ Second chance romance  ๐ŸŒธ Hollywoo...

#16 NETGALLEY READ: SOMEONE LIKE YOU

๐Ÿ“– BOOK TITLE: SOMEONE LIKE YOU    ๐Ÿ“–AUTHOR: SANDY BARKER  ๐Ÿ“–THOUGHTS&OPINIONS:  #134thBookOf2024 Thank you to Netgalley, Boldwood Books, and Sandy Barker for granting my request to read this e-ARC and provide my honest opinions. I would have rated this 3.5 stars, but I rounded it up to 4 stars. The whole transition from friends to lovers took me on a ride, and I really thought that both Raff's and Gaby's HEAs (Happily Ever After) would not happen due to some circumstances on both MCs part. "Someone Like You" is the fourth book in the "Ever After Agency Series," and I read this book as a standalone even without reading the rest in the series. Honestly, I feel that no one can be as dumb and oblivious as Raff. Like, seriously, dude, how can you not know when someone is flirting with you? The whole matchmaker bit got me excited (that's a dream job). Overall, I really enjoyed this story, even if I thought it was way too long and dragging ...
