BOOK REVIEW RUNDOWN:THE LAST LOVE NOTE

๐Ÿ“–BOOK TITLE: THE LAST LOVE NOTE

๐Ÿ“–AUTHOR: EMMA GREY

๐Ÿ“–THOUGHTS&OPINIONS:
#Twenty-EighthBookOf2024

Ok, I am in between with this book. I like it, but not so much.

The main theme in this book was GRIEF, and while the book did justice to it, it lacked emotional depth for me.
I enjoyed how the book ended.

๐Ÿ“–RATINGS: 3 STARS ⭐⭐⭐

๐Ÿ“–QUOTES:
The problem with grief. It’s not packed tidily in a box that you can bring out in appropriate, private moments and sort through. It’s threaded inconveniently through everything.

The bigger risk is not taking a risk.’

You don’t recover from it. There is no ‘healed’ moment. You just absorb it into your new life, somehow, and go from there.

Even in loss, there’s so much more to life.

Life is short, love is grand

FROM ONE TO FIVE

Another Saturday, another bookish rant๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜Š. Welcome to another chapter of weekly special book lovers ๐Ÿ“š๐Ÿ˜. The star rating system: a simple way to sum up our thoughts on a book, or an outdated habit that's due for a change? The other day I saw a post on Instagram about whether book reviewers still made use of "stars" when reviewing books, and I was compelled to make this a topic on my book segment! So the question is, 'Do reviewers and generally book lovers still make use of stars when reviewing books?' As a book reviewer myself, I love making use of stars, and I will never stop making use of them except a better system comes up for scaling books ๐Ÿ˜‚. It is also true that I correct my ratings accordingly. What do I mean by this? This is what I mean: when rating books, I go by my mood and excitement after completion of the book, and I immediately rate books. I may look back on my emotions after reading a particular book and correct my ratings. I recently...

WHO AM I?

In this chapter of the Weekly Special, I am going to dive into who I am aside from being a book reviewer! I know y'all are probably thinking that all I do with my time is read books and rate them on a scale of five ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚. Probably not! So the question is, Who is RayoReads? I am Rayo, and this is who I am aside from reading and reviewing books. 1. I am a student at Delta State University in Abraka studying physiology. How cool, right? (just joking) ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ . When school is in session, studies take up most of my time, which is why I am so happy when we go on breaks.  2. I am a very introverted person, which you will have guessed, so no partying, going out , excessive friends, and the rest. 3. I am an indoors person, but that does not mean I sleep a lot ๐Ÿ’ค๐Ÿ˜‚ .P.S.: I don't like taking afternoon naps. 4. I am not a big social person, but you can find me on Facebook: (  https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100087184700959&mibextid=ZbWKwL )    Instagram (...
