📖 BOOK TITLE: JUST ANOTHER MISSING PERSON  📖AUTHOR: GILLIAN MCALLISTER  📖THOUGHTS&OPINIONS:  #FortySeventhBookOf2024  I first read McAllister's work early this year which is Wrong Place Wrong Time and I loved the book and it centered around the theme of motherhood and family.  So, in Just Another Missing Person, I was originally confused because it took some time to understand the characters because there were so many of them. This novel followed the same premise as Wrong Place, Wrong Time, and I liked it but not so much. It took me a bit to get into the plot; I'll admit that it was slow at first, but I needed to know what was going on. I didn't even read the blurb😂 but unfortunately, I didn't quite connect to the story, perhaps because of my novelty to the luxury bag industry. Gosh, I don't even know what a Birkin looks like 🤧. Forgive my novelty, but it is what it is. So my novelty toward luxury bag brands affected my view of this book. I couldn't understand the concept behind the counterfeit luxury bag industry. I also didn't understand why Ava felt the need to join Winnie in her scheme. She obviously has a husband she loves (I think), a child she adores, but whines a lot (and when I mean a lot,I mean a lot).
